Configure Moniepoint as a standalone POS payment system for Nigerian customers

Nigeria Market Only

Moniepoint is configured exclusively for Nigerian customers (currency: NGN). Services include: Airtime, Data, Bill Payments, Bank Transfer, Card Payment, POS, Withdrawal, and Collection. This is entirely separate from the Monnify payment system.

Required Secrets

These 3 secrets must be set in Dashboard → Settings → Environment Variables

API Base URL

MONIEPOINT_BASE_URL

✓ Set

Base URL for Moniepoint API (e.g. https://api.example.com)

Example: https://api.moniepoint.com

API Key

MONIEPOINT_API_KEY

✓ Set

Your Moniepoint Business API key for authenticating API requests

Example: mp_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Webhook Secret

MONIEPOINT_WEBHOOK_SECRET

✓ Set

Used to verify incoming webhook event signatures from Moniepoint

Example: whs_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Webhook Configuration

Your Webhook URL:

Dashboard → Code → Functions → moniepointWebhook → Copy URL

The exact URL is available in the Base44 Dashboard under Code → Functions → moniepointWebhook

Steps to configure in Moniepoint:

Log into your Moniepoint Business dashboard
Navigate to API Settings → Webhooks
Add the webhook URL copied from Dashboard → Code → Functions
Set the webhook secret to match MONIEPOINT_WEBHOOK_SECRET
Enable events: PAYMENT_SUCCESSFUL, PAYMENT_FAILED
